September 11

Today is September 11. All week the news has been showing videos from 10 years ago. Memorials and videos of the lives of the families left behind - where are they now. Of course, with any 9/11 video comes images of the planes flying into the World Trade Center. It's as horrific to me today as it was 10 years ago. Ten years. Look how far we've come. Osama is dead. That's progress. Families will never forget, but they have moved forward. People are resilient. Faced with a challenge a person always comes out better for it. Our country hasn't come as far as I'd like, but we are resilient. We will get there. God bless America.
